Congratulations to Snoop Dogg for being honored with a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
For those who are unfamiliar with this Rap Star, Calvin Broadus who later became record producer as well as TV and Movie Personality. Google Snoop Dogg an be informed!!!! This just shows the critics, rap is not all bad and can lead to great accomplishments. He even finds time for his family and community, so again, I would like to say again, Well Done Double G from the Black Community.

Shirley Chisholm’s Statue will stand at the entrance to Prospect Park in Brooklyn New York at the end of construction in late 2020. Another great Black women in our history. Who will be the next from the Black Community to be so honored?????

Shirley Anita Chisholm was an American politician, educator, and author. In 1968, she became the first black woman elected to the United States Congress, and she represented New York’s 12th Congressional District for seven terms from 1969 to 1983. In 1972, she became the first black candidate for a major party’s nomination for President of the United States, and the first woman to run for the Democratic Party’s presidential nomination.
